第5回ステアラボ人工知能セミナー

千葉工業大学 人工知能・ソフトウェア技術研究センター（ステアラボ）では、機械学習、自然言語処理、画像処理等の人工知能分野の研究者をお招きし、最先端の研究について講演していただく「ステアラボ人工知能セミナー」を定期的に開催しています。

第5回目の今回は、機械学習の国際会議で活躍されているNTTコミュニケーション科学基礎研究所のマチューブロンデル先生をお招きし、「Higher-Order Factorization Machines」というタイトルで、機械学習のコンペティションなどでもよく使われるFactorization Machineに関する講演をしていただきます。 どなたでも無料でご参加いただけます。 会場のキャパシティの問題がありますので、参加される際は事前に参加申し込みをお願い致します。

Higher-Order Factorization Machines

講演概要

Factorization machines (FMs) are a supervised learning approach that can use second-order feature combinations even when the data is very high-dimensional. Unfortunately, despite increasing interest in FMs, there exists to date no efficient training algorithm for higher-order FMs (HOFMs). In this talk, I will present the first generic yet efficient algorithms for training arbitrary-order HOFMs. I will also present new variants of HOFMs with shared parameters, which greatly reduce model size and prediction times while maintaining similar accuracy. I will demonstrate the proposed approaches on four different link prediction tasks.
