About the Event Hosts:
Teng Yen Lin is a professional artist who paints full time and specializes in 3D illusionary art. She has worked with the Esplanade, National Arts Council and OCBC Bank on various arts projects, even before she graduated university. Also known as the NUS Ukulele Girl, from a video of her performing a song spontaneously on a bus that went viral on YouTube, Yen Lin has also been featured on Starhub, and is passionate about getting people together to have fun through creative expression. Yen Lin wears clashing colors and says it's okay because she's an artist. She loves chocolate and maggi and hates soft toys.
MaryAnn Loo is a visual artist and illustrator specializing in mixed media art and cartoon portraits. Her journey as a professional artist started two years ago with the creation of her first solo art exhibition, which she painted for and put together within 2 months. She has illustrated children’s books and painted murals, while working on her own creative projects. MaryAnn is passionate about bringing people together to have fun in various activities such as drawing from one's imagination and going on adventure hikes. She loves penguins and chocolate and absolutely dislikes ketchup.
